'Dense' in the Bible

But if your eye is bad [spiritually blind], your whole body will be full of darkness [devoid of God’s precepts]. So if the [very] light inside you [your inner self, your heart, your conscience] is darkness, how great and terrible is that darkness!

And Jesus went with him. And a dense crowd followed Him, and thronged Him on all sides.

for he had an only daughter, about twelve years old, and she was dying. And as He went, the dense throng crowded on Him.

These people are wells without water, mists driven along by a storm, men for whom the dense darkness has been reserved.

wild waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, for whom is reserved dense darkness of age-long duration.
