'Greetings' in the Bible
As you enter the house, give it greetings.
And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.
So he went right up to Jesus and said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” and kissed Him.
And after twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and put a reed in His right hand [as a scepter]. Kneeling before Him, they ridiculed Him, saying, “Hail (rejoice), King of the Jews!”
Suddenly, Jesus met them and said, "Greetings!" They went up to him, took hold of his feet, and worshipped him.
