'Hiding' in the Bible
"Indeed, there are wicked scoundrels among my people. They lie in wait like bird catchers hiding in ambush. They set deadly traps to catch people.
Beware! I am against you,you who sit above the valley,you atop the rocky plateau—this is the Lord’s declaration—you who say, “Who can come down against us?Who can enter our hiding places?”
“Can a man hide himself in hiding placesSo I do not see him?” declares the Lord.“Do I not fill the heavens and the earth?” declares the Lord.

Now some of the officers of the Judean army and their troops had been hiding in the countryside. They heard that the king of Babylon had appointed Gedaliah son of Ahikam to govern the country. Johanan and all the officers of the troops that had been hiding in the open country came to Gedaliah at Mizpah.
But I'll strip Esau bare. I'll uncover his hiding places so he cannot conceal himself. His offspring, his relatives, and his neighbors will be destroyed, and he will no longer exist.
