'Need' in the Bible
For this reason there is the more need for us to give attention to the things which have come to our ears, for fear that by chance we might be slipping away.
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

For this is the kind of high priest we need: holy, innocent, undefiled, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens.
He doesn’t need to offer sacrifices every day, as high priests do—first for their own sins, then for those of the people. He did this once for all when He offered Himself.
If the first covenant had been faultless, there would have been no need to look for a second one,
"And there will be no need at all for each one to teach his countryman or each one to teach his brother saying, 'Know the Lord,' since they will all know me, from the least to the greatest.
For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.
And why need I say more? For time will fail me if I tell the story of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, and of David and Samuel and the Prophets;
fully equip you with every grace that you may need for the doing of His will, producing in us that which will truly please Him through Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory to the Ages of the Ages! Amen.
