'People's' in the Bible

Oppressors treat my people cruelly; creditors rule over them. My people's leaders mislead them; they give you confusing directions.

But desert creatures will lie down there,And their houses will be full of owls;Ostriches also will live there, and wild goats will dance there.

He will destroy death forever.The Lord God will wipe away the tearsfrom every faceand remove His people’s disgracefrom the whole earth,for the Lord has spoken.

The moonlight will be as bright as the sunlight, and the sunlight will be seven times brighter—like the light of seven days—on the day that the Lord bandages His people’s injuries and heals the wounds He inflicted.

Thorns and briars will come up on my people's land; yes, on all the houses of joy in the joyous city.

This is what your Lord, the LORD, says, your God, who defends his people's cause: "See, I have taken from your hand the cup that made you stagger. And you will never again drink to the dregs the cup that is my anger.

He was taken away because of oppression and judgment;and who considered His fate?For He was cut off from the land of the living;He was struck because of my people’s rebellion.

He said,“Build it up, build it up, prepare the way,remove every obstacle from My people’s way.”

They will not build and others live in them;they will not plant and others eat.For My people’s lives will belike the lifetime of a tree.My chosen ones will fully enjoythe work of their hands.
