'Repaid' in the Bible

Adoni-bezek said, “Seventy kings with their thumbs and big toes cut off used to pick up scraps under my table. God has repaid me for what I have done.” They brought him to Jerusalem, and he died there.

"Now, if you have shown loyalty and integrity when you made Abimelech king, if you have done right to Jerub-Baal and his family, if you have properly repaid him --

That's how God repaid Abimelech for the evil thing he did to his father by killing his 70 brothers.

God also repaid the men of Shechem for their wickedness, and the curse of Jerubbaal's son Jotham came true for them.
