'Road' in the Bible
Then the Lord said to Isaiah, “Go out with your son Shear-jashub to meet Ahaz at the end of the conduit of the upper pool, by the road to the Fuller’s Field.
My heart cries out over Moab,whose fugitives flee as far as Zoar,to Eglath-shelishiyah;they go up the slope of Luhith weeping;they raise a cry of destructionon the road to Horonaim.
The way of the good man is straight; the road of the upright is made smooth by you.
Get out of the good way, turning from the right road; do not keep the Holy One of Israel before our minds.
The highways are deserted; travelers have quit the road. The enemy has broken treaties; he despises their witnesses, and respects no one.
A road will be there and a way;it will be called the Holy Way.The unclean will not travel on it,but it will be for the one who walks the path.Even the fool will not go astray.

Wasn’t it You who dried up the sea,the waters of the great deep,who made the sea-bed into a roadfor the redeemed to pass over?
“You were tired out by the length of your road,Yet you did not say, ‘It is hopeless.’You found renewed strength,Therefore you did not faint.
And one has said: "Build up! Build up the road! Prepare the highway! Remove every obstacle from my people's way.'
