'Shelter' in the Bible

Daughter Zion is abandonedlike a shelter in a vineyard,like a shack in a cucumber field,like a besieged city.

and there will be a booth for shade from heat by day, and a refuge and shelter from storm and rain.

Give us counsel and make a decision.Shelter us at noondaywith shade that is as dark as night.Hide the refugees;do not betray the one who flees.

They set out to go down to Egyptwithout asking My advice,in order to seek shelter under Pharaoh’s protectionand take refuge in Egypt’s shadow.

“Therefore the safety of Pharaoh will be your shameAnd the shelter in the shadow of Egypt, your humiliation.

Each will be like a shelter from the wind,a refuge from the rain,like streams of water in a dry landand the shade of a massive rock in an arid land.

I want you to share your food with the hungry and to provide shelter for homeless, oppressed people. When you see someone naked, clothe him! Don't turn your back on your own flesh and blood!
