Later, the king of Egypt spoke to the Hebrew midwives, one of whom was named Shiphrah and the other Puah.

Then Moses told the LORD, "Please, LORD, I'm not eloquent. I never was in the past nor am I now since you spoke to your servant. In fact, I talk too slowly and I have a speech impediment."

Moses was 80 years old and Aaron 83 when they spoke to Pharaoh.

And Moses spoke to Aaron, Say to all the assembly of the children of Israel, Come near into the presence of Jehovah; for he has heard your murmurings.

And it came to pass, when Aaron spoke to the whole assembly of the children of Israel, that they turned toward the wilderness, and behold, the glory of Jehovah appeared in the cloud.

So Moses went down to the people and spoke to them.
