'Subjection' in the Bible
Let not Sin therefore reign as king in your mortal bodies, causing you to be in subjection to their cravings;
For when you were the bondservants of sin, you were under no sort of subjection to Righteousness.
For the Creation fell into subjection to failure and unreality (not of its own choice, but by the will of Him who so subjected it)
Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.
Therefore it is necessary to be in subjection, not only because of wrath, but also for conscience’ sake.
