'Tears' in the Bible
Observing him from a distance, at first they didn't even recognize him, so they raised their voices and burst into tears. They each ripped their robes, threw ashes into the air on their heads,
Whatever He tears down cannot be rebuilt;whoever He imprisons cannot be released.
His anger tears at me, and He harasses me.He gnashes His teeth at me.My enemy pierces me with His eyes.
My face is red from my tears, and dark shadows encircle my eyelids,
My friends scorn me: but mine eye poureth out tears unto God.
He tears me down on every side so that I am ruined.He uproots my hope like a tree.
“For if my land has cried out against me,And its furrows weep together;
"Beneath him he is armored as with sharp potsherds; he tears through muddy ground like a threshing sledge through grain.
