'Vengeance' in the Bible

God—He gives me vengeanceand subdues peoples under me.

The righteous shall rejoice when he seeth the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.

Why should the nations ask,“Where is their God?”Before our eyes,let vengeance for the shed blood of Your servantsbe known among the nations.

O LORD God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself.

Thou answeredst them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance of their inventions.

To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people;
