'Wants' in the Bible
As for the one who wants to sue you and take away your shirt, let him have your coat as well.
Give to the one who asks you, and don’t turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you.
All [things] have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and {anyone to whom} the Son wants to reveal [him].
An evil and adulterous generation demands a sign, but no sign will be given to it except the sign of Jonah.” Then He left them and went away.
Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone wants to come with Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life because of Me will find it.
It must not be like that among you. On the contrary, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,
and whoever wants to be first among you must be your slave;
He has put His trust in God; let God rescue Him now—if He wants Him! For He said, ‘I am God’s Son.’”
Summoning the crowd along with His disciples, He said to them, “If anyone wants to be My follower, he must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow Me.
For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life because of Me and the gospel will save it.
Sitting down, He called the Twelve and said to them, “If anyone wants to be first, he must be last of all and servant of all.”
But it must not be like that among you. On the contrary, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant,
and whoever wants to be first among you must be a slave to all.
And no one, after drinking old wine, wants new, because he says, ‘The old is better.’”

For whoever wants to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life because of Me will save it.

I say to you, Although he will not get up and give them to him because he is his friend, because of his shamelessness, at any rate, he will rise and give him as many as he wants.
At that time some Pharisees came and told Him, “Go, get out of here! Herod wants to kill You!”
"Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. He will first sit down and estimate the cost to see whether he has enough money to finish it, won't he?
The wind blows where it wants to. You hear its sound, but you don't know where it comes from or where it is going. That's the way it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit."
But an hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth. Yes, the Father wants such people to worship Him.
Do you not say, 'It wants four months yet to the harvest'? But look round, I tell you, and observe these plains-- they are already ripe for the sickle.
And just as the Father raises the dead and gives them life, so the Son also gives life to anyone He wants to.
since no one acts in secret if he wants to be known publicly. If you're going to do these things, you should reveal yourself to the world!"
If anyone wants to do His will, he will understand whether the teaching is from God or if I am speaking on My own.
“You have a demon!” the crowd responded. “Who wants to kill You?”

I have enough of everything--and more than enough. My wants are fully satisfied now that I have received from the hands of Epaphroditus the generous gifts which you sent me--they are a fragrant odor, an acceptable sacrifice, truly pleasing to God.
who wants everyone to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
If a believing woman has widows dependent on her, she should relieve their wants, and save the Church from being burdened--so that the Church may relieve the widows who are really in need.
and let ours also learn to apply themselves to good works for necessary wants, that they may not be unfruitful.
