'Words' in the Bible
Then will his angry words come to their ears, and by his wrath they will be troubled:
{To the chief Musician upon Nehiloth, A Psalm of David.} Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.
You will send destruction on those whose words are false; the cruel man and the man of deceit are hated by the Lord.
For no faith may be put in their words; their inner part is nothing but evil; their throat is like an open place for the dead; smooth are the words of their tongues.
As for all my enemies, they will be put to shame; they will be greatly frightened and suddenly turn away ashamed. A Davidic psalm, which he sang to the LORD, because of the words of Cush the descendant of Benjamin.
{Shiggaion of David, which he sang unto the LORD, concerning the words of Cush the Benjamite.} O LORD my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:
You have said sharp words to the nations, you have sent destruction on the sinners, you have put an end to their name for ever and ever.
His mouth is full of curses and deceptive, harmful words; his tongue injures and destroys.
They speak deceitful and worthless words to one another;With flattering lips and a double heart they speak.
The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
As for the ways of mankind, I have, according to the words of your lips, avoided the ways of the violent.
As for me, I have called on you because you will answer me, O God. Incline your ear to me. Hear my words.
But as for me, justified, I will behold your face; when I awake, your presence will satisfy me. To the Director: By the servant of the LORD, David, who spoke the words of this song to the LORD on the day when the LORD delivered him from the hands of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul.

Then the deep beds of the waters were seen, and the bases of the world were uncovered, because of your words of wrath, O Lord, because of the breath from your mouth.
There is no speech; there are no words;their voice is not heard.
Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
{To the chief Musician upon Aijeleth Shahar, A Psalm of David.} My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? why art thou so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
Do not take me away with the sinners and the workers of evil, who say words of peace to their neighbours, but evil is in their hearts.
Then make sure you don't speak evil words or use deceptive speech!
Use your spear and lance against those who chase me! Assure me with these words: "I am your deliverer!"
For they speak not peace, And against the quiet of the land, Deceitful words they devise,
The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he hath left off to be wise, and to do good.
The godly speak wise words and promote justice.
Those who seek my life try to entrap me; those who want to harm me speak destructive words; all day long they say deceitful things.
my anxiety intensified. As I thought about it, I became impatient. Finally I spoke these words:
I have told the great assembly about your justice. Look! I spare no words! O Lord, you know this is true.
And when one comes to see me, he speaks empty words,While his heart gathers malicious gossip [against me];When he goes away, he tells it [everywhere].
The cruel words of my haters are like a crushing of my bones; when they say to me every day, Where is your God?
Because of the voice of the taunter and reviler,Because of the presence of the enemy and the avenger.
My heart is flowing over with good things; my words are of that which I have made for a king; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
My mouth will speak words of wisdom. My heart shall utter understanding.
This is the way of those who are arrogant,and of their followers,who approve of their words.Selah
Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee.
You do damage with words, and use your tongue to deceive.
Against Thee, Thee only, I have sinned, And done the evil thing in Thine eyes, So that Thou art righteous in Thy words, Thou art pure in Thy judging.
O Lord, give me the words! Then my mouth will praise you.

Never take your truthful words from me, For I wait for your ordinances.
CHETH. Thou art my portion, O LORD: I have said that I would keep thy words.
Before I was humbled, I wandered away, but now I observe your words.
Let your worshippers be turned to me, and those who have knowledge of your words.
Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies,For Your words are always with me.
How sweet are thy words unto my taste! yea, sweeter than honey to my mouth!

My zeal hath consumed me, because mine enemies have forgotten thy words.
I rise before dawn and cry for help;I wait for Your words.
