'Scanty' in the Bible

Are there yet in the house of the wicked Treasures of wickedness, And the abhorred scanty ephah?

Some falls on rocky ground, where it has but scanty soil. It quickly shows itself above ground, because it has no depth of earth;

"Seven pounds' worth of bread," replied Philip, "is not enough for them all to get even a scanty meal."

To this very moment we endure both hunger and thirst, with scanty clothing and many a blow.
