'Seas' in the Bible

God called the dry ground "land" and the gathered waters he called "seas." God saw that it was good.

God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the water in the seas, and let the birds multiply on the earth."

"'These you can eat from all creatures that are in the water: Any creatures in the water that have both fins and scales, whether in the seas or in the streams, you may eat.

(But there is one who made the constellations Pleiades and Orion; he can turn the darkness into morning and daylight into night. He summons the water of the seas and pours it out on the earth's surface. The Lord is his name!
