In the visions
אֱלֹהִ֔ים
’ĕ·lō·hîm,
of God
הֱבִיאַ֖נִי
hĕ·ḇî·’a·nî
He took me
אֶל־
’el-
אֶ֣רֶץ
’e·reṣ
the land
､ יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל
yiś·rā·’êl;
of Israel ､
וַיְנִיחֵ֗נִי
way·nî·ḥê·nî,
and set me
אֶל־
’el-
on
､ הַ֤ר
har
a mountain ､
גָּבֹ֙הַּ֙
gā·ḇō·ah
מְאֹ֔ד
mə·’ōḏ,
וְעָלָ֥יו
wə·‘ā·lāw
and on it [was]
כְּמִבְנֵה־
kə·miḇ·nêh-
עִ֖יר
‘îr
of a city
. מִנֶּֽגֶב׃
min·ne·ḡeḇ.

וַיָּבֵ֨יא
way·yā·ḇê
And He took
אוֹתִ֜י
’ō·w·ṯî
me
､ שָׁ֗מָּה
šām·māh,
there ､
､ וְהִנֵּה־
wə·hin·nêh-
and behold ､
､ אִישׁ֙
’îš
[there] [was] a man ､
מַרְאֵ֙הוּ֙
mar·’ê·hū
כְּמַרְאֵ֣ה
kə·mar·’êh
､ נְחֹ֔שֶׁת
nə·ḥō·šeṯ,
of bronze ､
וּפְתִיל־
ū·p̄ə·ṯîl-
and He had a line
פִּשְׁתִּ֥ים
piš·tîm
of flax
､ בְּיָד֖וֹ
bə·yā·ḏōw
in his hand ､
– וּקְנֵ֣ה
ū·qə·nêh
and a rod –
הַמִּדָּ֑ה
ham·mid·dāh;
וְה֥וּא
wə·hū
and he
עֹמֵ֖ד
‘ō·mêḏ
. בַּשָּֽׁעַר׃
baš·šā·‘ar.
in the gateway .

And said

to me
הָאִ֗ישׁ

the man
בֶּן־

､ אָדָ֡ם

of man ､
רְאֵ֣ה

､ בְעֵינֶיךָ֩
ḇə·‘ê·ne·ḵā
with your eyes ､
､ וּבְאָזְנֶ֨יךָ
ū·ḇə·’ā·zə·ne·ḵā
and with your ears ､
שְּׁמָ֜ע

וְשִׂ֣ים

and fix
לִבְּךָ֗
lib·bə·ḵā,
לְכֹ֤ל
