the law
הַמְּצֹרָ֔ע
ham·mə·ṣō·rā‘,
of the leper
בְּי֖וֹם
bə·yō·wm
for the day
. טָהֳרָת֑וֹ
ṭā·ho·rā·ṯōw;
וְהוּבָ֖א
wə·hū·ḇā
And He shall be brought
אֶל־
’el-
to
､ הַכֹּהֵֽן׃
hak·kō·hên.
the priest ､

וְיָצָא֙
wə·yā·ṣā
and shall go
הַכֹּהֵ֔ן
hak·kō·hên,
the priest
אֶל־
’el-
מִח֖וּץ
mi·ḥūṣ
of
– לַֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה
lam·ma·ḥă·neh;
the camp –
וְרָאָה֙
wə·rā·’āh
､ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן

the priest ､
､ וְהִנֵּ֛ה
wə·hin·nêh
and [if] indeed ､
נִרְפָּ֥א
nir·pā
נֶֽגַע־
ne·ḡa‘-
the
הַצָּרַ֖עַת
haṣ·ṣā·ra·‘aṯ
מִן־
min-
in
､ הַצָּרֽוּעַ׃
haṣ·ṣā·rū·a‘.
the leper ､

וְצִוָּה֙
wə·ṣiw·wāh
הַכֹּהֵ֔ן

the priest
וְלָקַ֧ח
wə·lā·qaḥ
and to take
לַמִּטַּהֵ֛ר
lam·miṭ·ṭa·hêr
for him who is to be cleansed
שְׁתֵּֽי־
šə·tê-
צִפֳּרִ֥ים
ṣip·po·rîm
חַיּ֖וֹת
ḥay·yō·wṯ
､ טְהֹר֑וֹת
ṭə·hō·rō·wṯ;
[and] clean ､
וְעֵ֣ץ
wə·‘êṣ
and wood
､ אֶ֔רֶז
’e·rez,
cedar ､
וּשְׁנִ֥י
ū·šə·nî
and
､ תוֹלַ֖עַת
ṯō·w·la·‘aṯ
– וְאֵזֹֽב׃
wə·’ê·zōḇ.
and hyssop –

הַכֹּהֵ֔ן

וְהִזָּ֗ה

And he shall sprinkle it

him who is to be cleansed
מִן־

הַצָּרַ֖עַת
haṣ·ṣā·ra·‘aṯ
שֶׁ֣בַע

､ פְּעָמִ֑ים
pə·‘ā·mîm;
times ､
､ וְטִ֣הֲר֔וֹ
wə·ṭi·hă·rōw,
וְשִׁלַּ֛ח
wə·šil·laḥ

He who is to be cleansed

וְגִלַּ֣ח

אֶת־
’eṯ-

כָּל־
kāl-
､ שְׂעָר֗וֹ

his hair ､
וְרָחַ֤ץ
wə·rā·ḥaṣ
､ בַּמַּ֙יִם֙
bam·ma·yim
in water ､
. וְטָהֵ֔ר
wə·ṭā·hêr,
that he may be clean .
וְאַחַ֖ר

And after [that]
יָב֣וֹא

אֶל־

､ הַֽמַּחֲנֶ֑ה
ham·ma·ḥă·neh;
the camp ､
וְיָשַׁ֛ב

מִח֥וּץ
mi·ḥūṣ
לְאָהֳל֖וֹ
lə·’ā·ho·lōw
שִׁבְעַ֥ת
šiḇ·‘aṯ
. יָמִֽים׃

וְהָיָה֩

But
בַיּ֨וֹם

on the day
､ הַשְּׁבִיעִ֜י
haš·šə·ḇî·‘î
– יְגַלַּ֣ח
yə·ḡal·laḥ
he shall shave –
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
כָּל־
kāl-
שְׂעָר֗וֹ
śə·‘ā·rōw,
the hair off
､ אֶת־
’eṯ-
- ､
､ רֹאשׁ֤וֹ
rō·šōw
his head ､
וְאֶת־
wə·’eṯ-
and
､ זְקָנוֹ֙
zə·qā·nōw
וְאֵת֙
wə·’êṯ
and
גַּבֹּ֣ת
gab·bōṯ
-
､ עֵינָ֔יו
‘ê·nāw,
וְאֶת־
wə·’eṯ-
and
כָּל־
kāl-
שְׂעָר֖וֹ
śə·‘ā·rōw
､ יְגַלֵּ֑חַ

he shall shave off ､
וְכִבֶּ֣ס
wə·ḵib·bes
and He shall wash
אֶת־
’eṯ-

､ בְּגָדָ֗יו
bə·ḡā·ḏāw,
וְרָחַ֧ץ
wə·rā·ḥaṣ
and wash
אֶת־
’eṯ-
-
בְּשָׂר֛וֹ
bə·śā·rōw
､ בַּמַּ֖יִם
bam·ma·yim
in water ､
. וְטָהֵֽר׃

and he shall be clean .

And on the day
הַשְּׁמִינִ֗י

יִקַּ֤ח

שְׁנֵֽי־

כְבָשִׂים֙

､ תְּמִימִ֔ים
tə·mî·mîm,
וְכַבְשָׂ֥ה
wə·ḵaḇ·śāh
and ewe lamb
אַחַ֛ת
’a·ḥaṯ
of one
בַּת־
baṯ-
the first
שְׁנָתָ֖הּ
šə·nā·ṯāh
､ תְּמִימָ֑ה
tə·mî·māh;
וּשְׁלֹשָׁ֣ה

and three
עֶשְׂרֹנִ֗ים

as a grain offering ､

the sin offering ､
וְאֶת־

､ וְלַבָּֽיִת׃
wə·lab·bā·yiṯ.
and of a house ､

､ וְלַשְׂאֵ֥ת
wə·laś·’êṯ
､ וְלַסַּפַּ֖חַת
wə·las·sap·pa·ḥaṯ
and a scab ､
וְלַבֶּהָֽרֶת׃
wə·lab·be·hā·reṯ.
and a bright spot

לְהוֹרֹ֕ת
lə·hō·w·rōṯ
בְּי֥וֹם
bə·yō·wm
､ הַטָּמֵ֖א
haṭ·ṭā·mê
[it is] unclean ､
וּבְי֣וֹם
ū·ḇə·yō·wm
and when
. הַטָּהֹ֑ר
haṭ·ṭā·hōr;
[it is] clean .
זֹ֥את
zōṯ
תּוֹרַ֖ת
tō·w·raṯ
[is] the law
. הַצָּרָֽעַת׃
haṣ·ṣā·rā·‘aṯ.
of leprosy .
