וַיַּ֣עַשׂ

So did

כַּֽאֲשֶׁ֛ר

צִוָּ֥ה

יְהוָ֖ה

､ אֹת֑וֹ

’ō·ṯōw;

him ､

וַתִּקָּהֵל֙

wat·tiq·qā·hêl

and was gathered together

הָֽעֵדָ֔ה

hā·‘ê·ḏāh,

the congregation

אֶל־

’el-

at

פֶּ֖תַח

pe·ṯaḥ

the door

אֹ֥הֶל

’ō·hel

of the tabernacle

. מוֹעֵֽד׃

וַיֹּ֥אמֶר

And said

מֹשֶׁ֖ה

אֶל־

､ הָעֵדָ֑ה

hā·‘ê·ḏāh;

the congregation ､

זֶ֣ה

this [is]

הַדָּבָ֔ר

had·dā·ḇār,

אֲשֶׁר־

’ă·šer-

צִוָּ֥ה

ṣiw·wāh

יְהוָ֖ה

Yah·weh

. לַעֲשֽׂוֹת׃

la·‘ă·śō·wṯ.

to be done .

וַיַּקְרֵ֣ב

אֶֽת־

אַהֲרֹ֖ן

וְאֶת־

and

､ בָּנָ֑יו

וַיִּרְחַ֥ץ

אֹתָ֖ם

. בַּמָּֽיִם׃

with water .

וַיִּתֵּ֨ן

And he put

עָלָ֜יו

on him

､ הַכֻּתֹּ֗נֶת

the tunic ､

וַיַּחְגֹּ֤ר

way·yaḥ·gōr

אֹתוֹ֙

’ō·ṯōw

､ בָּֽאַבְנֵ֔ט

bā·’aḇ·nêṭ,

with the sash ､

וַיַּלְבֵּ֤שׁ

way·yal·bêš

אֹתוֹ֙

’ō·ṯōw

אֶֽת־

’eṯ-

with

､ הַמְּעִ֔יל

ham·mə·‘îl,

the robe ､

וַיִּתֵּ֥ן

way·yit·tên

and put

עָלָ֖יו

‘ā·lāw

on him

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ הָאֵפֹ֑ד

hā·’ê·p̄ōḏ;

the ephod ､

וַיַּחְגֹּ֣ר

way·yaḥ·gōr

and he girded

אֹת֗וֹ

’ō·ṯōw,

בְּחֵ֙שֶׁב֙

bə·ḥê·šeḇ

with the intricately woven band

､ הָֽאֵפֹ֔ד

hā·’ê·p̄ōḏ,

of the ephod ､

וַיֶּאְפֹּ֥ד

way·ye’·pōḏ

and tied [the ephod]

ל֖וֹ

lōw

on him

. בּֽוֹ׃

bōw.

with it .

וַיָּ֥שֶׂם

way·yā·śem

And he put

עָלָ֖יו

‘ā·lāw

on him

אֶת־

’eṯ-

､ הַחֹ֑שֶׁן

ha·ḥō·šen;

the breastplate ､

וַיִּתֵּן֙

way·yit·tên

and he put

אֶל־

’el-

in

הַחֹ֔שֶׁן

ha·ḥō·šen,

the breastplate

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

הָאוּרִ֖ים

hā·’ū·rîm

the Urim

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

. הַתֻּמִּֽים׃

hat·tum·mîm.

וַיָּ֥שֶׂם

And he put

הַמִּצְנֶ֖פֶת

ham·miṣ·ne·p̄eṯ

עַל־

– רֹאשׁ֑וֹ

וַיָּ֨שֶׂם

and he put

the turban ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

כָּל־

kāl-

אֲשֶׁר־

and consecrated

. אֹתָֽם׃

And He sprinkled

מִמֶּ֛נּוּ

mim·men·nū

some of it

עַל־

‘al-

הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חַ

ham·miz·bê·aḥ

שֶׁ֣בַע

še·ḇa‘

､ פְּעָמִ֑ים

pə·‘ā·mîm;

וַיִּמְשַׁ֨ח

way·yim·šaḥ

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

הַמִּזְבֵּ֜חַ

ham·miz·bê·aḥ

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

כָּל־

kāl-

､ כֵּלָ֗יו

kê·lāw,

its utensils ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

הַכִּיֹּ֛ר

hak·kî·yōr

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

､ כַּנּ֖וֹ

. לְקַדְּשָֽׁם׃

lə·qad·də·šām.

to consecrate them .

וַיִּצֹק֙

And he poured

מִשֶּׁ֣מֶן

הַמִּשְׁחָ֔ה

ham·miš·ḥāh,

עַ֖ל

‘al

on

､ רֹ֣אשׁ

rōš

head ､

אַהֲרֹ֑ן

’a·hă·rōn;

וַיִּמְשַׁ֥ח

way·yim·šaḥ

אֹת֖וֹ

’ō·ṯōw

. לְקַדְּשֽׁוֹ׃

lə·qad·də·šōw.

to consecrate him .

וַיַּקְרֵ֨ב

way·yaq·rêḇ

מֹשֶׁ֜ה

､ בְּנֵ֣י

sons ､

אַהֲרֹ֗ן

וַיַּלְבִּשֵׁ֤ם

and put on them

､ כֻּתֳּנֹת֙

kut·to·nōṯ

וַיַּחְגֹּ֤ר

way·yaḥ·gōr

אֹתָם֙

’ō·ṯām

､ אַבְנֵ֔ט

’aḇ·nêṭ,

with sashes ､

וַיַּחֲבֹ֥שׁ

way·ya·ḥă·ḇōš

and put

לָהֶ֖ם

lā·hem

､ מִגְבָּע֑וֹת

miḡ·bā·‘ō·wṯ;

hats ､

כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר

ka·’ă·šer

as

צִוָּ֥ה

ṣiw·wāh

יְהוָ֖ה

The Priests' Sin Offering

וַיַּגֵּ֕שׁ

And he brought

אֵ֖ת

the sin offering –

וַיִּסְמֹ֨ךְ

way·yis·mōḵ

and laid

אַהֲרֹ֤ן

וּבָנָיו֙

ū·ḇā·nāw

אֶת־

’eṯ-

יְדֵיהֶ֔ם

yə·ḏê·hem,

עַל־

‘al-

רֹ֖אשׁ

the sin offering .

of the altar

סָבִיב֙

､ בְּאֶצְבָּע֔וֹ

with his finger ､

וַיְחַטֵּ֖א

way·ḥaṭ·ṭê

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ הַמִּזְבֵּ֑חַ

ham·miz·bê·aḥ;

the altar ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

הַדָּ֗ם

had·dām,

יָצַק֙

yā·ṣaq

אֶל־

’el-

at

יְס֣וֹד

yə·sō·wḏ

the base

､ הַמִּזְבֵּ֔חַ

ham·miz·bê·aḥ,

of the altar ､

וַֽיְקַדְּשֵׁ֖הוּ

and consecrated it

לְכַפֵּ֥ר

lə·ḵap·pêr

to make atonement

And he took

יֹתֶ֣רֶת

the fatty lobe [attached to]

､ הַכָּבֵ֔ד

hak·kā·ḇêḏ,

the liver ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

שְׁתֵּ֥י

šə·tê

､ הַכְּלָיֹ֖ת

hak·kə·lā·yōṯ

the kidneys ､

וְאֶֽת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

､ חֶלְבְּהֶ֑ן

ḥel·bə·hen;

with their fat ､

וַיַּקְטֵ֥ר

way·yaq·ṭêr

and burned [them]

מֹשֶׁ֖ה

. הַמִּזְבֵּֽחָה׃

וּבָנָ֛יו

לִפְנֵ֥י

Yah·weh.

וַיִּקַּ֨ח

way·yiq·qaḥ

And took

מֹשֶׁ֤ה

mō·šeh

אֹתָם֙

’ō·ṯām

מֵעַ֣ל

mê·‘al

､ כַּפֵּיהֶ֔ם

kap·pê·hem,

their hands ､

וַיַּקְטֵ֥ר

way·yaq·ṭêr

and burned [them]

הַמִּזְבֵּ֖חָה

ham·miz·bê·ḥāh

on the altar

עַל־

‘al-

on

– הָעֹלָ֑ה

hā·‘ō·lāh;

the burnt offering –

מִלֻּאִ֥ים

mil·lu·’îm

[were] consecration offerings

הֵם֙

hêm

לְרֵ֣יחַ

lə·rê·aḥ

､ נִיחֹ֔חַ

nî·ḥō·aḥ,

a sweet ､

אִשֶּׁ֥ה

’iš·šeh

an offering made by fire

ה֖וּא

hū

it [was]

. לַיהוָֽה׃

Yah·weh.

וַיִּקַּ֤ח

way·yiq·qaḥ

And took

מֹשֶׁה֙

mō·šeh

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ הֶ֣חָזֶ֔ה

he·ḥā·zeh,

the breast ､

וַיְנִיפֵ֥הוּ

way·nî·p̄ê·hū

and waved it

תְנוּפָ֖ה

ṯə·nū·p̄āh

[as] a wave offering

לִפְנֵ֣י

lip̄·nê

､ יְהוָ֑ה

Yah·weh;

מֵאֵ֣יל

mê·’êl

of the ram

. הַמִּלֻּאִ֗ים

ham·mil·lu·’îm,

of consecration .

לְמֹשֶׁ֤ה

lə·mō·šeh

הָיָה֙

hā·yāh

it was

､ לְמָנָ֔ה

lə·mā·nāh,

part ､

כַּאֲשֶׁ֛ר

ka·’ă·šer

as

צִוָּ֥ה

ṣiw·wāh

יְהוָ֖ה

Yah·weh

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

. מֹשֶֽׁה׃

mō·šeh.

וַיִּקַּ֨ח

way·yiq·qaḥ

And took

מֹשֶׁ֜ה

mō·šeh

מִשֶּׁ֣מֶן

miš·še·men

､ הַמִּשְׁחָ֗ה

ham·miš·ḥāh,

the anointing ､

וּמִן־

ū·min-

and some

הַדָּם֮

had·dām

of the blood

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

’ă·šer

עַל־

‘al-

on

､ הַמִּזְבֵּחַ֒

ham·miz·bê·aḥ

the altar ､

וַיַּ֤ז

way·yaz

and sprinkled [it]

עַֽל־

‘al-

on

､ אַהֲרֹן֙

’a·hă·rōn

עַל־

‘al-

on

､ בְּגָדָ֔יו

bə·ḡā·ḏāw,

his garments ､

וְעַל־

wə·‘al-

and on

､ בָּנָ֛יו

bā·nāw

וְעַל־

wə·‘al-

and on

בִּגְדֵ֥י

biḡ·ḏê

בָנָ֖יו

ḇā·nāw

– אִתּ֑וֹ

’it·tōw;

with him –

וַיְקַדֵּ֤שׁ

way·qad·dêš

and he consecrated

אֶֽת־

’eṯ-

אַהֲרֹן֙

’a·hă·rōn

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ בְּגָדָ֔יו

bə·ḡā·ḏāw,

his garments ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

､ בָּנָ֛יו

bā·nāw

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

בִּגְדֵ֥י

biḡ·ḏê

בָנָ֖יו

ḇā·nāw

. אִתּֽוֹ׃

’it·tōw.

with him .

וַיֹּ֨אמֶר

way·yō·mer

And said

מֹשֶׁ֜ה

mō·šeh

אֶל־

’el-

to

אַהֲרֹ֣ן

’a·hă·rōn

וְאֶל־

wə·’el-

and

､ בָּנָ֗יו

bā·nāw,

בַּשְּׁל֣וּ

baš·šə·lū

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

הַבָּשָׂר֮

hab·bā·śār

פֶּ֣תַח

pe·ṯaḥ

[at] the door

אֹ֣הֶל

’ō·hel

of the tabernacle

､ מוֹעֵד֒

mō·w·‘êḏ

of meeting ､

וְשָׁם֙

wə·šām

תֹּאכְל֣וּ

tō·ḵə·lū

､ אֹת֔וֹ

’ō·ṯōw,

it ､

וְאֶ֨ת־

wə·’eṯ-

and with

הַלֶּ֔חֶם

hal·le·ḥem,

אֲשֶׁ֖ר

’ă·šer

that [is]

בְּסַ֣ל

bə·sal

in the basket

､ הַמִּלֻּאִ֑ים

ham·mil·lu·’îm;

of consecration offerings ､

כַּאֲשֶׁ֤ר

ka·’ă·šer

as

､ צִוֵּ֙יתִי֙

ṣiw·wê·ṯî

I commanded ､

､ לֵאמֹ֔ר

lê·mōr,

אַהֲרֹ֥ן

’a·hă·rōn

וּבָנָ֖יו

ū·ḇā·nāw

. יֹאכְלֻֽהוּ׃

yō·ḵə·lu·hū.

וְהַנּוֹתָ֥ר

wə·han·nō·w·ṯār

And the remainder

בַּבָּשָׂ֖ר

bab·bā·śār

of the flesh

וּבַלָּ֑חֶם

ū·ḇal·lā·ḥem;

and of the bread

בָּאֵ֖שׁ

bā·’êš

with fire

. תִּשְׂרֹֽפוּ׃

tiś·rō·p̄ū.

you shall burn .

וּמִפֶּתַח֩

ū·mip·pe·ṯaḥ

And outside the door

אֹ֨הֶל

’ō·hel

of the tabernacle

מוֹעֵ֜ד

mō·w·‘êḏ

לֹ֤א

lō

not

תֵֽצְאוּ֙

ṯê·ṣə·’ū

שִׁבְעַ֣ת

šiḇ·‘aṯ

､ יָמִ֔ים

yā·mîm,

days ､

עַ֚ד

‘aḏ

י֣וֹם

yō·wm

the days

､ מְלֹ֔את

mə·lōṯ,

יְמֵ֖י

yə·mê

the days

– מִלֻּאֵיכֶ֑ם

mil·lu·’ê·ḵem;

of your consecration –

כִּ֚י

שִׁבְעַ֣ת

šiḇ·‘aṯ

יָמִ֔ים

yā·mîm,

יְמַלֵּ֖א

yə·mal·lê

he shall consecrate

אֶת־

’eṯ-

. יֶדְכֶֽם׃

yeḏ·ḵem.

כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר

ka·’ă·šer

As

עָשָׂ֖ה

‘ā·śāh

בַּיּ֣וֹם

bay·yō·wm

､ הַזֶּ֑ה

haz·zeh;

this ､

צִוָּ֧ה

ṣiw·wāh

､ יְהוָ֛ה

Yah·weh

[so] Yahweh ､

לַעֲשֹׂ֖ת

la·‘ă·śōṯ

to do

לְכַפֵּ֥ר

lə·ḵap·pêr

to make atonement

. עֲלֵיכֶֽם׃

‘ă·lê·ḵem.

וּפֶתַח֩

ū·p̄e·ṯaḥ

Therefore the door

אֹ֨הֶל

’ō·hel

of the tabernacle

מוֹעֵ֜ד

mō·w·‘êḏ

תֵּשְׁב֨וּ

tê·šə·ḇū

you shall stay [at]

יוֹמָ֤ם

yō·w·mām

וָלַ֙יְלָה֙

wā·lay·lāh

שִׁבְעַ֣ת

šiḇ·‘aṯ

､ יָמִ֔ים

yā·mîm,

days ､

וּשְׁמַרְתֶּ֛ם

ū·šə·mar·tem

and keep

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

מִשְׁמֶ֥רֶת

miš·me·reṯ

､ יְהוָ֖ה

Yah·weh

of Yahweh ､

וְלֹ֣א

wə·lō

so that not

. תָמ֑וּתוּ

ṯā·mū·ṯū;

כִּי־

kî-

כֵ֖ן

ḵên

so

. צֻוֵּֽיתִי׃

ṣuw·wê·ṯî.

I have been commanded .

וַיַּ֥עַשׂ

way·ya·‘aś

So did

אַהֲרֹ֖ן

’a·hă·rōn

וּבָנָ֑יו

ū·ḇā·nāw;

אֵ֚ת

’êṯ

כָּל־

kāl-

הַדְּבָרִ֔ים

had·də·ḇā·rîm,

אֲשֶׁר־

’ă·šer-

צִוָּ֥ה

ṣiw·wāh

יְהוָ֖ה

Yah·weh

בְּיַד־

bə·yaḏ-

by the hand

. מֹשֶֽׁה׃

mō·šeh.
