'Praise the Lord' in the Bible

Praise the Lord, the God of Israel,because He has visitedand provided redemption for His people.

And she, at the same hour, standing up continued to praise the Lord, and speak concerning Him to all those awaiting the redemption in Jerusalem.

And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.

converse with one another in the music of psalms, in hymns, and in songs of the spiritual life, praise the Lord heartily with words and music,

We praise the Lord and Father with it, and [also] curse men who are created in God's likeness with it.

After these things I heard something like the great and mighty shout of a vast multitude in heaven, exclaiming,“Hallelujah! Salvation and glory (splendor, majesty) and power (dominion, might) belong to our God;

And a second time they said, “Hallelujah! Her smoke shall ascend forever and ever.”

Then the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures also fell down and worshiped God who sits on the throne, saying, “Amen. Hallelujah (praise the Lord)!”

Then I heard something like the shout of a vast multitude, and like the boom of many pounding waves, and like the roar of mighty peals of thunder, saying,“Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, [the Omnipotent, the Ruler of all] reigns.
