Ac 10:3 'He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day'; Ga 3:1 'before whose eyes Jesus Christ hath been evidently set forth.' The meaning is clearly, or openly as in RV. Cf. Rob. Crusoe (Gold. Treas. ed. p. 250), 'He saw evidently what Stock of Corn and Rice I had laid up.'
