Fausets
One of the three towns taken from Jeroboam by Abijah (2Ch 13:19). Now Ain Sinia, well watered and surrounded with gardens. Its position three miles N. of Beitin, near the main route between Jerusalem and Shechem, and its relation to the other towns of the triangle, Ephron (Taiyibeh) and Bethel (Beitin), made its acquisition of consequence to Abijah as commanding the high road to his capital.
