'Dry' in the Bible
The food of Solomon for one day was thirty dry measures of choice meal and sixty dry measures of flour;
And they took grain and dry grass for the horses and the carriage-horses, to the right place, every man as he was ordered.
Then Solomon gave to Hiram twenty thousand dry measures of wheat [as] food for his household, and twenty dry measures of {specially prepared olive oil}; thus Solomon gave to Hiram year by year.
And take with you ten cakes of bread and dry cakes and a pot of honey, and go to him: he will give you word of what is to become of the child.
Now after a time the stream became dry, because there was no rain in the land.
for this is what the Lord God of Israel says, ‘The flour jar will not become empty and the oil jug will not run dry until the day the Lord sends rain on the surface of the land.”
The flour jar did not become empty, and the oil jug did not run dry, according to the word of the Lord He had spoken through Elijah.
