'Looked' in the Bible

And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;

and they saw tongues of what looked like fire distributing themselves over the assembly, and on the head of each person a tongue alighted.

he looked ahead and spoke about the resurrection of the Messiah: "He was not abandoned to Hades, and his flesh did not experience decay.'

Peter, along with John, looked at him intently and said, “Look at us.”
