'Saith' in the Bible
Vanity of vanities, saith the Preacher, vanity of vanities; all is vanity.
There is a thing of which one saith: 'See this, it is new!' already it hath been in the ages that were before us!
There is one alone, and there is not a second; yea, he hath neither child nor brother: yet is there no end of all his labour; neither is his eye satisfied with riches; neither saith he, For whom do I labour, and bereave my soul of good? This is also vanity, yea, it is a sore travail.
Behold, this have I found, saith the preacher, counting one by one, to find out the account:
Where the word of a king is power is, and who saith to him, 'What dost thou?'
Yea also, when he that is a fool walketh by the way, his wisdom faileth him, and he saith to every one that he is a fool.
Vanity of vanities, saith the preacher; all is vanity.
