'Truth' in the Bible

The truth can be painful, but what has your argument proven?

I know it is so of a truth: but how should man be just with God?

Or speak to the earth [with its many forms of life], and it will teach you;And let the fish of the sea declare [this truth] to you.

But you coat the truth with lies;you are all worthless doctors.

To whom alone the land was given,And no stranger passed among them [corrupting the truth].

“Now Job has not directed his words against me [therefore I have no reason to be offended],Nor will I answer him with arguments like yours. [I speak for truth, not for revenge.]

Indeed, in truth, God does not act wickedly, and the Almighty does not pervert justice.

For in truth, my words are not false; it is one complete in knowledge who is with you.

After the Lord had finished speaking to Job, He said to Eliphaz the Temanite: “I am angry with you and your two friends, for you have not spoken the truth about Me, as My servant Job has.

Now take seven bulls and seven rams, go to My servant Job, and offer a burnt offering for yourselves. Then My servant Job will pray for you. I will surely accept his prayer and not deal with you as your folly deserves. For you have not spoken the truth about Me, as My servant Job has.”
