'Bellies' in the Bible
But [when] they went into their bellies it could not be known that they went into their bellies, for their appearance [was] as ugly as at the beginning. Then I awoke.
With Your hand, Lord, save me from men,from men of the worldwhose portion is in this life:You fill their bellies with what You have in store;their sons are satisfied,and they leave their surplus to their children.
For we lie in the dirt, with our bellies pressed to the ground.
Their end is destruction, their bellies are their God, their glory is in their shame, and their minds are devoted to earthly things.
One of themselves, even a prophet of their own, said, The Cretians are alway liars, evil beasts, slow bellies.
