'Hand's' in the Bible
It was square; they made the breastpiece folded double, a [hand’s] span long and a [hand’s] span wide when folded double.
and he slaughtered [it]. Then Moses took {some of} its blood and put [it] on Aaron's right ear lobe and on his right hand's thumb and on his right foot's big toe.

and he shall slaughter the male lamb of the guilt offering, and the priest shall take {some of} the guilt offering's blood, and he shall put [it] on the right ear's lobe of the one who presents himself for cleansing and on his right hand's thumb and on his right foot's big toe.
Then the priest shall put {some of} the oil that [is] on his palm on the right ear's lobe of the one who presents himself for cleansing and on his right hand's thumb and on his right foot's big toe on the place of the guilt offering's blood.
You have turned cruel to me; you persecute me with your hand's might.
You have made my days no longer than a hand's measure; and my years are nothing in your eyes; truly, every man is but a breath. (Selah.)
And there was a wall on the outside of the house all round, and in the man's hand there was a measuring rod six cubits long by a cubit and a hand's measure: so he took the measure of the building from side to side, one rod; and from base to top, one rod.
And these are the measures of the altar in cubits: (the cubit being a cubit and a hand's measure;) its hollow base is a cubit high and a cubit wide, and it has an overhanging edge as wide as a hand-stretch all round it:
