Pharisees Demand A Sign

¹⁰ Immediately he got into a boat with his disciples and went to the region of Dalmanutha. ¹¹ The Pharisees arrived and began arguing with Jesus. They tested him by demanding from him a sign from heaven. ¹² He sighed deeply in his spirit and remarked, "Why do those living today demand a sign? I tell all of you with certainty, no sign will be given to this generation."

Then some of the scribes and Pharisees told Jesus, "Teacher, we want to see a sign from you."

Let's stop putting the Lord to the test, as some of them were doing, and were destroyed by snakes.
