'Night and Day' in the Bible
and thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear night and day, and shalt have no assurance of thy life.
They were a wall unto us both by night and day, all the while we were with them keeping the sheep.
That thine eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which thou hast said, My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place.
Night and day may you watch over this temple, the place where you promised you would live. May you answer your servant's prayer for this place.
"Go, gather all the Jews that are found in Susa and fast for me; do not eat or drink [for] three days, both night and day. I and my young girls will fast likewise, and then I will go to the king, which [is] not according to the law; if I perish, I perish.
I the LORD do keep it; I will water it every moment: lest any hurt it, I will keep it night and day.
Night and day it shall not be quenched; its smoke shall go up forever. From generation to generation it shall be in ruins; forever and ever there will be no one who passes through her.
O Who will give my head water enough, and a well of tears for mine eyes, that I may weep night and day for the slaughter of my people?
