'Reproach' in the Bible
Happy are ye whenever they may reproach you, and may persecute, and may say any evil thing against you falsely for my sake --
Then began he to reproach the cities in which were done most of his mighty works, because they did not reform.
And the robbers also that were crucified with him cast upon him the same reproach.
Afterwards, as they are reclining (at meat), he was manifested to the eleven, and did reproach their unbelief and stiffness of heart, because they believed not those having seen him being raised;
Thus hath the Lord dealt with me in the days wherein he looked on me, to take away my reproach among men.
Blessed are ye, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.
bless and show kindness to those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.
But he, wishing to justify and vindicate himself, asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”
One of the lawyers [an expert in the Mosaic Law] answered Him, “Teacher, by saying this, You insult us too!”
Never repay anyone evil for evil. Take thought for what is right and gracious and proper in the sight of everyone.
Therefore do not let the boon which is yours in common be exposed to reproach.
For the Christ also did not please himself; but according as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproach thee have fallen upon me.

yet He has now reconciled you in His fleshly body through death, in order to present you before Him holy and blameless and beyond reproach—
An overseer, therefore, must be above reproach, the husband of one wife, self-controlled, sensible, respectable, hospitable, an able teacher,
Moreover he must have a good report of them which are without; lest he fall into reproach and the snare of the devil.
These men must also first be tested; then let them serve as deacons if they are beyond reproach.
For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.
Prescribe these things as well, so that they may be above reproach.
I will therefore that the younger marry, bear children, rule the house, give no occasion to the adversary in respect of reproach.

Therefore, dear friends, since you have these expectations, earnestly seek to be found in His presence, free from blemish or reproach, in peace.
