¹⁵ And after the reading of the law and the prophets, the synagogue rulers sent to them, saying, Men and brothers, if you have any word of exhortation for the people, speak. ¹⁶  And Paul stood up, and motioning with his hand, said, Men of Israel, and you that fear God, hear. ¹⁷ The God of this people chose our fathers, and raised up the people in the exile in the land of Egypt, and brought them out of it with a high arm.
