Genesis 22:13

God Tests Abraham

¹² And he said, "Lay not thy hands upon the child, neither do anything at all unto him, for now I know that thou fearest God, in that thou hast not kept thine only son from me." ¹³ And Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked about: and behold, there was a ram caught by the horns in a thicket. And he went and took the ram and offered him up for a sacrifice in the stead of his son. ¹⁴ And Abraham called the name of the place, "The LORD will see." Wherefore it is a common saying this day, "In the mount will the LORD be seen."

Genesis 22:8

And Abraham said, "My son, God will provide him a sheep for sacrifice." So went they both together.
