'It is Written' in the Bible
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
Do you not know that the one who joins himself to a prostitute is one body with her? For He says, “The two shall be one flesh.”
For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen?
Or does He speak entirely for our sake? Yes, it was written for our sake: The plowman ought to plow in hope, and the thresher to thresh in hope of sharing the harvest.
Neither be ye idolaters, as were some of them; as it is written, The people sat down to eat and drink, and rose up to play.
And all these things happened to them as examples; and it is written for our warning on whom the ends of the world have come.
In the law it is written, With men of other tongues and other lips will I speak unto this people; and yet for all that will they not hear me, saith the Lord.

as He who called you is holy, so you must be holy too in all your conduct ??16 for it is written, You shall be holy because I am holy.
