'O God' in the Bible
They said to him: Caesar's. Then he said to them: Give, therefore, to Caesar the things that are Caesar s, and to God the things that are God s.
And Jesus answered and said to them: Give to Caesar the things that are Caesar s, and to God the things that are God s. And they were astonished at him.
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will among men.
And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into the mountain to pray; and he spent the night in prayer to God.
Were there none found to return and give glory to God, but this one of another race?
And he immediately received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God. And all the people, when they saw it, gave praise to God.

Then, the second time, they called the man who had been blind, and said to him: Give glory to God; we know that this man is a sinner.

While it remained unsold, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your own disposal? Why have you purposed this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men, but to God.
a devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, who did many acts of charity to the people, and prayed to God always.
Therefore, Peter was kept in prison; but fervent prayer to God was made for him by the church.

But now, since you have been made free from sin, and have become servants to God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, eternal life.
So then, my brethren, you, also, have died to the law, by the body of the Christ, in order that you may be married to another, to him who was raised from the dead that we should bring forth fruit to God.
Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they may be saved.
For being ignorant of God's plan of justification, and seeking to establish their own plan of justification, they have not submitted to God's plan of justification.

Knowing, then, the fearful judgment of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest to God. I hope, indeed, that we are also made manifest in your consciences.
Therefore, we act as ambassadors for Christ, as though God entreated through us; we beseech in Christ's stead, be reconciled to God:
Now I rejoice not that you were made sorry, but that you sorrowed in order to repentance. For you sorrowed in a way acceptable to God, that you might in nothing receive injury from us.
But thanks be to God, who put the same earnest care for you in the heart of Titus:
that you may be enriched in every thing, for all liberality which produces through us thanksgiving to God;
because the administration of this service not only supplies the wants of the saints, but also abounds in many thanksgivings to God;
Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift.
Yet I pray to God that you may do no evil; not that we may appear as having proof, but that you may do what is good, though we be as without proof.
For, through law, I have died to law, that I might live to God.
that you were at that time without Christ, being aliens from the community of Israel, and strangers to the covenants of promise, having no hope, and having no God in the world:
and that he might reconcile both, in one body, to God, through the cross, having by it put to death the cause of enmity;

Be anxious about nothing, but in every thing, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God:
But I have all, and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus your gifts, a sweet odor, a sacrifice acceptable, well-pleasing to God.
Now to God, even our Father, be glory from age to age. Amen.
And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.
We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers,

For every high priest chosen from among men, is appointed for men, in things pertaining to God, that he may offer gifts and sacrifices for sins:
(for the law made no perfect expiation), and the introduction of a better hope, by which we draw near to God.
Wherefore, he is able also to save through all time those who come to God by him, since he always lives to make intercession for them.
how much more will the blood of the Christ, who, through the eternal Spirit, offered himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works, in order that you may serve the living God?
