Abishua, Naaman, Ahoah,

The sons of Benjamin: Bela and Becher and Ashbel, Gera and Naaman, Ehi and Rosh, Muppim and Huppim and Ard.

The sons of Benjamin according to their families: of Bela, the family of the Belaites; of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites; of Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites;

Shuppim and Huppim were the sons of Ir; Hushim was the son of Aher.

And Benjamin became the father of Bela his firstborn, Ashbel the second, Aharah the third,

namely, Naaman, Ahijah and Gera—he carried them into exile; and he became the father of Uzza and Ahihud.

These are the sons of Ehud: these are the heads of fathers’ households of the inhabitants of Geba, and they carried them into exile to Manahath,


The sons of Benjamin also lived from Geba onward, at Michmash and Aija, at Bethel and its towns,

and from the tribe of Benjamin: Geba with its pasture lands, Allemeth with its pasture lands, and Anathoth with its pasture lands. All their cities throughout their families were thirteen cities.

from Beth-gilgal and from their fields in Geba and Azmaveth, for the singers had built themselves villages around Jerusalem.

All the land will be changed into a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of Jerusalem; but Jerusalem will rise and remain on its site from Benjamin’s Gate as far as the place of the First Gate to the Corner Gate, and from the Tower of Hananel to the king’s wine presses.

Then King Asa brought all Judah, and they carried away the stones of Ramah and its timber with which Baasha had been building, and with them he fortified Geba and Mizpah.

They have gone through the pass, saying,
Geba will be our lodging place.”
Ramah is terrified, and Gibeah of Saul has fled away.
