The wicked will return to Sheol,
Even all the nations who forget God.

Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.

“Now consider this, you who forget God,
Or I will tear you in pieces, and there will be none to deliver.

They forgot His deeds
And His miracles that He had shown them.

For you have forgotten the God of your salvation
And have not remembered the rock of your refuge.
Therefore you plant delightful plants
And set them with vine slips of a strange god.

Therefore, thus says the Lord God, ‘Because you have forgotten Me and cast Me behind your back, bear now the punishment of your lewdness and your harlotries.’”

In the day that you plant it you carefully fence it in, And in the morning you bring your seed to blossom; But the harvest will be a heap In a day of sickliness and incurable pain.

But I will send a fire on its cities that it may consume its palatial dwellings.

"While it is still green and not cut down, Yet it withers before any other plant. "So are the paths of all who forget God; And the hope of the godless will perish,

“They are high as the heavens, what can you do?
Deeper than Sheol, what can you know?

But I will warn you whom to fear: fear the One who, after He has killed, has authority to cast into hell; yes, I tell you, fear Him!
