So he approached the place where I was standing. As he came, I felt terrified and fell flat on the ground. Then he said to me, "Understand, son of man, that the vision pertains to the time of the end."

Now as he was speaking with me, I was in a deep sleep on my face toward the ground: but he touched me, and set me upright.

Another parable He put before them. "The Kingdom of the Heavens," He said, "is like a mustard-seed, which a man takes and sows in his ground.

"The Kingdom of the Heavens is like treasure buried in the open country, which a man finds, but buries again, and, in his joy about it, goes and sells all he has and buys that piece of ground.

When the disciples heard this, they were overwhelmed with fear and threw themselves down with their faces to the ground.

Then the slave threw himself to the ground before him, saying, 'Be patient with me, and I will repay you everything.'

Then his fellow slave threw himself to the ground [and] began to implore him, saying, 'Be patient with me and I will repay you!'

So I was afraid and went off and hid your talent in the ground. Look, you have what is yours.’

Therefore that piece of ground has been called the Field of Blood to this day.

And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;

the ground produces grain by itself first the stalk, then the head, then the full grain in the head.

It’s like a mustard seed that, when sown in the soil, is smaller than all the seeds on the ground.

For he had often been bound with shackles [for the feet] and with chains, and he tore apart the chains and broke the shackles into pieces, and no one was strong enough to subdue and tame him.

And he commanded the people to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and they did set them before the people.

Whenever it brings on a seizure, it throws him to the ground. Then he foams at the mouth, grinds his teeth, and becomes stiff. So I asked your disciples to drive the spirit out, but they didn't have the power."

He also told them a parable: “Can a blind man guide [another] blind man? Will they not both fall into a hole in the ground?

But the one who hears and does not act is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The river crashed against it, and immediately it collapsed. And the destruction of that house was great!”

Others fell on stony ground, and as soon as they came up, they dried up because they had no moisture.

And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that hath ears to hear, let him hear.

The ones on the stony ground are the people who joyfully welcome the word when they hear it. But since they don't have any roots, they believe for a while, but in a time of testing they fall away.

Even while the boy was coming, the demon knocked him to the ground and threw him into convulsions. But Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, healed the boy, and gave him back to his father.

And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:

Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbereth it the ground?

And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.

But it is easier for earth and sky to pass away than for one smallest detail of the Law to fall to the ground.

He fell with his face to the ground at Jesus' feet and thanked him. (Now he was a Samaritan.)
