'Previously' in the Bible
That very day Herod and Pilate became friends. Previously, they had been hostile toward each other.
Nicodemus—the one who came to Him previously, being one of them—said to them,
Then the neighbors and those who had previously seen him as a beggar said, "This is the man who used to sit and beg, isn't it?"

So remember the heights from which you have fallen, and repent [change your inner self—your old way of thinking, your sinful behavior—seek God’s will] and do the works you did at first [when you first knew Me]; otherwise, I will visit you and remove your lampstand (the church, its impact) from its place—unless you repent.
After all this I looked and saw a door in Heaven standing open, and the voice that I had previously heard, which resembled the blast of a trumpet, again spoke to me and said, "Come up here, and I will show you things which are to happen in the future."
