'Salvation' in the Bible

I wait for Your salvation, Lord.

But Moses said to the people, “Don’t be afraid. Stand firm and see the Lord’s salvation He will provide for you today; for the Egyptians you see today, you will never see again.

The Lord is my strength and my song;He has become my salvation.This is my God, and I will praise Him,my father’s God, and I will exalt Him.

Then Jeshurun became fat and rebelled—you became fat, bloated, and gorged.He abandoned the God who made himand scorned the Rock of his salvation.

Salvation belongs to the Lord;may Your blessing be on Your people.Selah

Do not hide Your face from me;do not turn Your servant away in anger.You have been my helper;do not leave me or abandon me,God of my salvation.

My righteousness is near,My salvation appears,and My arms will bring justice to the nations.The coastlands will put their hope in Me,and they will look to My strength.

Look up to the heavens,and look at the earth beneath;for the heavens will vanish like smoke,the earth will wear out like a garment,and its inhabitants will die like gnats.But My salvation will last forever,and My righteousness will never be shattered.

For the moth will devour them like a garment,and the worm will eat them like wool.But My righteousness will last forever,and My salvation for all generations.

How beautiful on the mountainsare the feet of the herald,who proclaims peace,who brings news of good things,who proclaims salvation,who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!”

The Lord has displayed His holy armin the sight of all the nations;all the ends of the earth will seethe salvation of our God.

This is what the Lord says:Preserve justice and do what is right,for My salvation is coming soon,and My righteousness will be revealed.

We all growl like bearsand moan like doves.We hope for justice, but there is none;for salvation, but it is far from us.

He saw that there was no man—He was amazed that there was no one interceding;so His own arm brought salvation,and His own righteousness supported Him.

Surely, falsehood comes from the hills,commotion from the mountains,but the salvation of Israelis only in the Lord our God.

but as for me, I will sacrifice to Youwith a voice of thanksgiving.I will fulfill what I have vowed.Salvation is from the Lord!

But I will look to the Lord;I will wait for the God of my salvation.My God will hear me.

Because I have sinned against Him,I must endure the Lord’s rageuntil He argues my caseand establishes justice for me.He will bring me into the light;I will see His salvation.

yet I will triumph in Yahweh;I will rejoice in the God of my salvation!

He has raised up a horn of salvation for usin the house of His servant David,

salvation from our enemiesand from the clutches of those who hate us.

to give His people knowledge of salvationthrough the forgiveness of their sins.

For my eyes have seen Your salvation.

and everyone will see the salvation of God.

“Today salvation has come to this house,” Jesus told him, “because he too is a son of Abraham.
