'Shake' in the Bible
She said, “The Philistines are upon you, Samson!” And he awoke from his sleep and said, “I will go out as at other times and shake myself free.” But he did not know that the Lord had departed from him.
I also shook out the front of my garment and said, “Thus may God shake out every man from his house and from his possessions who does not fulfill this promise; even thus may he be shaken out and emptied.” And all the assembly said, “Amen!” And they praised the Lord. Then the people did according to this promise.
Dread came upon me, and trembling,And made all my bones shake.
“I too could speak like you,If I were in your place.I could compose words against youAnd shake my head at you.
So they will make him stumble;Their own tongue is against them;All who see them will shake the head.
May their eyes grow dim so that they cannot see,And make their loins shake continually.
The Lord reigns, let the peoples tremble;He is enthroned above the cherubim, let the earth shake!
When it was reported to the house of David, saying, “The Arameans have camped in Ephraim,” his heart and the hearts of his people shook as the trees of the forest shake with the wind.
Then it will be that he who flees the report of disaster will fall into the pit,And he who climbs out of the pit will be caught in the snare;For the windows above are opened, and the foundations of the earth shake.

I saw the Lord standing beside the altar, and He said,“Smite the capitals so that the thresholds will shake,And break them on the heads of them all!Then I will slay the rest of them with the sword;They will not have a fugitive who will flee,Or a refugee who will escape.
“For behold, I am commanding,And I will shake the house of Israel among all nationsAs grain is shaken in a sieve,But not a kernel will fall to the ground.
For thus says the Lord of hosts, ‘Once more in a little while, I am going to shake the heavens and the earth, the sea also and the dry land.
I will shake all the nations; and they will come with the wealth of all nations, and I will fill this house with glory,’ says the Lord of hosts.
“Speak to Zerubbabel governor of Judah, saying, ‘I am going to shake the heavens and the earth.
Whoever does not receive you, nor heed your words, as you go out of that house or that city, shake the dust off your feet.
Any place that does not receive you or listen to you, as you go out from there, shake the dust off the soles of your feet for a testimony against them.”
he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the rock; and when a flood occurred, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built.
And as for those who do not receive you, as you go out from that city, shake the dust off your feet as a testimony against them.”
And His voice shook the earth then, but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth, but also the heaven.”
