These are the records of the generations of Noah. Noah was a righteous man,

blameless in his time; Noah walked with God.

Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him,
On those who

hope for His lovingkindness,

Blessings are on the head of the righteous,

But the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.

Riches do not profit in the day of wrath,

But righteousness delivers from death.

Say to the righteous that it will go well with them,
For they will eat the fruit of their actions.

so that you will prove yourselves to be blameless and innocent, children of God above reproach in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you

appear as lights in the world,

and did not spare the ancient world, but preserved Noah, a preacher of righteousness, with seven others, when He brought a flood upon the world of the ungodly;
