Jesus Calls His First Disciples

¹⁹ Going on a little farther, he saw James, the son of Zebedee, and his brother John. They were in a boat repairing their nets. ²⁰ He immediately called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed him. ²¹ Then they went to Capernaum. As soon as it was the Sabbaths, Jesus went into the synagogue and began to teach.
