Mark 9:7

The Transfiguration

⁶ For he did not really know what to say, he was so frightened. ⁷ Then a cloud came and was circling over them, and a voice came out of the cloud, "This is my Son, my Beloved; keep on listening to Him!" ⁸ And as quick as a flash, on looking around, they saw no one with them but Jesus by Himself.

And this testimony is that God has given us eternal life, and this life is given through union with His Son.

And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us insight to recognize the True One; and we are in union with the True One through His Son, Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.

See! He is coming on the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even the men who pierced Him, and all the tribes of the earth will lament over Him. Even so. Amen.
