“But to what shall I compare this generation? It is like children sitting in the market places, who call out to the other children,
How shall I admonish you? To what shall I compare you, O daughter of Jerusalem? To what shall I liken you as I comfort you, O virgin daughter of Zion? For your ruin is as vast as the sea; Who can heal you?
You brood of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak what is good? For the mouth speaks out of that which fills the heart.
Truly I say to you, all these things will come upon this generation.
Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place.
And He said, “How shall we picture the kingdom of God, or by what parable shall we present it?
“To what then shall I compare the men of this generation, and what are they like?
So He was saying, “What is the kingdom of God like, and to what shall I compare it?
