Paying Taxes To Caesar

²¹ They said, “[The Emperor Tiberius] Caesar’s.” Then He said to them, “Then pay to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s; and to God the things that are God’s.” ²² When they heard this, they were caught off guard, and they left Him and went away. ²³ On that day some Sadducees, who say that there is no resurrection [of the dead], came to Him and asked Him a question,
