Persecution Of Disciples Predicted

¹⁰ Then many will take offense, betray one another and hate one another. ¹¹ Many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. ¹² Because lawlessness will multiply, the love of many will grow cold.

False Prophets

Matthew 7:15

“Beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravaging wolves.

Matthew 24:24

False messiahs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.

Matthew 24:5

For many will come in My name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and they will deceive many.

Mark 13:22

For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and will perform signs and wonders to lead astray, if possible, the elect.

Revelation 19:20
