You will be far from oppression, for you will not fear;
And from terror, for it will not come near you.

“Behold, the days are coming,” declares the Lord,
“When I will raise up for David a righteous

And He will reign as king and act wisely
And do justice and righteousness in the land.

“I will make a covenant of peace with them and eliminate harmful beasts from the land so that they may live securely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods.

and you will say, ‘I will go up against the land of

unwalled villages. I will go against those who are at rest, that live securely, all of them living without walls and having no bars or gates,

They will

forget their disgrace and all their treachery which they perpetrated against Me, when they live securely on their own land with no one to make them afraid.

For

“But if you refuse and rebel,
You will be devoured by the sword.”
Truly, the mouth of the Lord has spoken.

Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed,

And all flesh will see it together;
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”

Then you will take delight in the Lord,
And I will make you ride on the heights of the earth;
And I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father,
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.”
