Heed the sound of my cry for help, my King and my God,
For to You I pray.

Give heed to me and answer me;
I am restless in my complaint and

am surely distracted,

For the choir director; on a stringed instrument. A Psalm of David.

Hear my cry, O God;

Give heed to my prayer.

But certainly God has heard;
He has given heed to the voice of my prayer.

“Give heed to my cry,
For I am brought very low;
Deliver me from my persecutors,
For they are too strong for me.

Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to the prayer offered in this place.

let Your ear now be attentive and Your eyes open to hear the prayer of Your servant which I am praying before You now, day and night, on behalf of the sons of Israel Your servants, confessing the sins of the sons of Israel which we have sinned against You; I and my father’s house have sinned.

O my God, incline Your ear and hear! Open Your eyes and see our desolations and the city which is called by Your name; for we are not

presenting our supplications before You on account of any merits of our own, but on account of Your great compassion.

Not out of feigned lips

As soon as they hear, they obey me;

submit to me.

Yet in spite of all this her treacherous sister Judah did not return to Me with all her heart, but rather in deception,” declares the Lord.

‘This people honors Me with their lips,
But their heart is far away from Me.
