וְאָמַרְתָּ֖

､ אֲלֵהֶ֑ם

to them ､

אִ֣ישׁ

’îš

אֽוֹ־

’ōw-

or

､ אִשָּׁ֗ה

’iš·šāh,

כִּ֤י

kî

יַפְלִא֙

yap̄·li

consecrates an offering

לִנְדֹּר֙

lin·dōr

to take the vow

נֶ֣דֶר

ne·ḏer

of

､ נָזִ֔יר

nā·zîr,

לְהַזִּ֖יר

lə·haz·zîr

to separate himself

. לַֽיהוָֽה׃

Yah·weh.

מִיַּ֤יִן

mî·ya·yin

וְשֵׁכָר֙

wə·šê·ḵār

and [similar] drink

. יַזִּ֔יר

yaz·zîr,

he shall separate himself .

חֹ֥מֶץ

ḥō·meṣ

Vinegar made from

､ יַ֛יִן

ya·yin

wine ､

וְחֹ֥מֶץ

wə·ḥō·meṣ

nor vinegar made from

､ שֵׁכָ֖ר

šê·ḵār

[similar] drink ､

לֹ֣א

lō

､ יִשְׁתֶּ֑ה

yiš·teh;

he shall drink ､

וְכָל־

wə·ḵāl

and any

מִשְׁרַ֤ת

miš·raṯ

– עֲנָבִים֙

‘ă·nā·ḇîm

לֹ֣א

yiš·teh,

וַעֲנָבִ֛ים

wa·‘ă·nā·ḇîm

לַחִ֥ים

､ וִיבֵשִׁ֖ים

are fulfilled ､

הַיָּמִ֜ם

hay·yā·mim

the days

אֲשֶׁר־

’ă·šer-

יַזִּ֤יר

yaz·zîr

he separated himself

､ לַיהוָה֙

Yah·weh

to Yahweh ､

. קָדֹ֣שׁ

qā·ḏōš

יִהְיֶ֔ה

yih·yeh,

He shall be

גַּדֵּ֥ל

gad·dêl

[Then] he shall let grow

פֶּ֖רַע

pe·ra‘

שְׂעַ֥ר

śə·‘ar

of the hair

. רֹאשֽׁוֹ׃

כָּל־

יְמֵ֥י

the days

הַזִּיר֖וֹ

haz·zî·rōw

that he separates himself

､ לַיהוָ֑ה

Yah·weh;

to Yahweh ､

עַל־

he shall go near .

､ לְאָבִ֣יו

Even for his father ､

､ וּלְאִמּ֗וֹ

ū·lə·’im·mōw,

or his mother ､

､ לְאָחִיו֙

lə·’ā·ḥîw

for his brother ､

､ וּלְאַ֣חֹת֔וֹ

ū·lə·’a·ḥō·ṯōw,

or his sister ､

לֹא־

lō-

not

יִטַּמָּ֥א

yiṭ·ṭam·mā

He shall make himself unclean

לָהֶ֖ם

lā·hem

-

､ בְּמֹתָ֑ם

bə·mō·ṯām;

when they die ､

כִּ֛י

kî

נֵ֥זֶר

nê·zer

his separation to

אֱלֹהָ֖יו

’ĕ·lō·hāw

עַל־

‘al-

[is] on

. רֹאשֽׁוֹ׃

פִּתְאֹ֔ם

piṯ·’ōm,

וְטִמֵּ֖א

wə·ṭim·mê

and he defiles

רֹ֣אשׁ

rōš

､ נִזְר֑וֹ

niz·rōw;

his consecrated ､

וְגִלַּ֤ח

wə·ḡil·laḥ

then he shall shave

רֹאשׁוֹ֙

rō·šōw

בְּי֣וֹם

bə·yō·wm

on the day

､ טָהֳרָת֔וֹ

ṭā·ho·rā·ṯōw,

of his cleansing ､

בַּיּ֥וֹם

bay·yō·wm

on the day

הַשְּׁבִיעִ֖י

haš·šə·ḇî·‘î

. יְגַלְּחֶֽנּוּ׃

yə·ḡal·lə·ḥen·nū.

he shall shave it .

וּבַיּ֣וֹם

ū·ḇay·yō·wm

And on the day

הַשְּׁמִינִ֗י

haš·šə·mî·nî,

יָבִא֙

yā·ḇi

שְׁתֵּ֣י

šə·tê

､ תֹרִ֔ים

ṯō·rîm,

turtledoves ､

א֥וֹ

’ōw

or

שְׁנֵ֖י

šə·nê

בְּנֵ֣י

bə·nê

､ יוֹנָ֑ה

yō·w·nāh;

אֶל־

’el-

to

､ הַכֹּהֵ֔ן

hak·kō·hên,

the priest ､

אֶל־

’el-

to

פֶּ֖תַח

pe·ṯaḥ

the door

אֹ֥הֶל

’ō·hel

of the tabernacle

. מוֹעֵֽד׃

mō·w·‘êḏ.

וְעָשָׂ֣ה

wə·‘ā·śāh

And shall offer

הַכֹּהֵ֗ן

hak·kō·hên,

אֶחָ֤ד

’e·ḥāḏ

､ לְחַטָּאת֙

lə·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ

as a sin offering ､

וְאֶחָ֣ד

wə·’e·ḥāḏ

and one

､ לְעֹלָ֔ה

lə·‘ō·lāh,

as a burnt offering ､

וְכִפֶּ֣ר

wə·ḵip·per

and make atonement

עָלָ֔יו

‘ā·lāw,

מֵאֲשֶׁ֥ר

mê·’ă·šer

חָטָ֖א

ḥā·ṭā

עַל־

‘al-

in regard to

､ הַנָּ֑פֶשׁ

han·nā·p̄eš;

the corpse ､

וְקִדַּ֥שׁ

wə·qid·daš

and he shall sanctify

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

רֹאשׁ֖וֹ

rō·šōw

בַּיּ֥וֹם

bay·yō·wm

. הַהֽוּא׃

ha·hū.

וְהִזִּ֤יר

wə·hiz·zîr

And He shall consecrate

לַֽיהוָה֙

Yah·weh

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

יְמֵ֣י

yə·mê

the days

､ נִזְר֔וֹ

niz·rōw,

of his separation ､

וְהֵבִ֛יא

wə·hê·ḇî

כֶּ֥בֶשׂ

ke·ḇeś

בֶּן־

ben-

שְׁנָת֖וֹ

šə·nā·ṯōw

– לְאָשָׁ֑ם

lə·’ā·šām;

as a trespass offering –

וְהַיָּמִ֤ים

wə·hay·yā·mîm

but the days

הָרִאשֹׁנִים֙

hā·ri·šō·nîm

､ יִפְּל֔וּ

yip·pə·lū,

shall be lost ､

כִּ֥י

kî

טָמֵ֖א

ṭā·mê

. נִזְרֽוֹ׃

niz·rōw.

his separation .

וְזֹ֥את

wə·zōṯ

And this

תּוֹרַ֖ת

tō·w·raṯ

[is] the law

､ הַנָּזִ֑יר

han·nā·zîr;

of the Nazirite ､

בְּי֗וֹם

bə·yō·wm,

מְלֹאת֙

mə·lōṯ

יְמֵ֣י

yə·mê

the days

､ נִזְר֔וֹ

niz·rōw,

of his separation ､

יָבִ֣יא

yā·ḇî

he shall be brought

אֹת֔וֹ

’ō·ṯōw,

-

אֶל־

’el-

to

פֶּ֖תַח

pe·ṯaḥ

the door

אֹ֥הֶל

’ō·hel

of the tabernacle

. מוֹעֵֽד׃

mō·w·‘êḏ.

וְהִקְרִ֣יב

wə·hiq·rîḇ

And he shall present

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

קָרְבָּנ֣וֹ

qā·rə·bā·nōw

､ לַיהוָ֡ה

Yah·weh

to Yahweh: ､

כֶּבֶשׂ֩

ke·ḇeś

בֶּן־

ben-

שְׁנָת֨וֹ

šə·nā·ṯōw

תָמִ֤ים

ṯā·mîm

without blemish

אֶחָד֙

’e·ḥāḏ

､ לְעֹלָ֔ה

lə·‘ō·lāh,

as a burnt offering ､

וְכַבְשָׂ֨ה

wə·ḵaḇ·śāh

and ewe lamb in

אַחַ֧ת

’a·ḥaṯ

בַּת־

baṯ-

שְׁנָתָ֛הּ

šə·nā·ṯāh

תְּמִימָ֖ה

tə·mî·māh

without blemish

､ לְחַטָּ֑את

lə·ḥaṭ·ṭāṯ;

as a sin offering ､

וְאַֽיִל־

wə·’a·yil-

and ram

אֶחָ֥ד

’e·ḥāḏ

תָּמִ֖ים

tā·mîm

without blemish

､ לִשְׁלָמִֽים׃

liš·lā·mîm.

as a peace offering ､

וְסַ֣ל

wə·sal

and a basket

､ מַצּ֗וֹת

maṣ·ṣō·wṯ,

of unleavened bread ､

סֹ֤לֶת

sō·leṯ

חַלֹּת֙

ḥal·lōṯ

בְּלוּלֹ֣ת

bə·lū·lōṯ

､ בַּשֶּׁ֔מֶן

baš·še·men,

with oil ､

וּרְקִיקֵ֥י

ū·rə·qî·qê

מַצּ֖וֹת

maṣ·ṣō·wṯ

מְשֻׁחִ֣ים

mə·šu·ḥîm

､ בַּשָּׁ֑מֶן

baš·šā·men;

with oil ､

､ וּמִנְחָתָ֖ם

ū·min·ḥā·ṯām

and their grain offering ､

. וְנִסְכֵּיהֶֽם׃

wə·nis·kê·hem.

and with their drink offerings .

וְהִקְרִ֥יב

wə·hiq·rîḇ

And shall bring [them]

הַכֹּהֵ֖ן

hak·kō·hên

לִפְנֵ֣י

lip̄·nê

､ יְהוָ֑ה

Yah·weh;

וְעָשָׂ֥ה

wə·‘ā·śāh

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ חַטָּאת֖וֹ

ḥaṭ·ṭā·ṯōw

his sin offering ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

. עֹלָתֽוֹ׃

‘ō·lā·ṯōw.

his burnt offering .

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

And

הָאַ֜יִל

hā·’a·yil

the ram

יַעֲשֶׂ֨ה

ya·‘ă·śeh

זֶ֤בַח

ze·ḇaḥ

שְׁלָמִים֙

šə·lā·mîm

of peace offering

､ לַֽיהוָ֔ה

Yah·weh,

to Yahweh ､

עַ֖ל

‘al

with

סַ֣ל

sal

– הַמַּצּ֑וֹת

ham·maṣ·ṣō·wṯ;

of unleavened bread –

וְעָשָׂה֙

wə·‘ā·śāh

and shall offer

הַכֹּהֵ֔ן

hak·kō·hên,

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

､ מִנְחָת֖וֹ

min·ḥā·ṯōw

its grain offering ､

וְאֶת־

wə·’eṯ-

and

. נִסְכּֽוֹ׃

nis·kōw.

its drink offering .

וְגִלַּ֣ח

wə·ḡil·laḥ

And shall shave

הַנָּזִ֗יר

han·nā·zîr,

פֶּ֛תַח

pe·ṯaḥ

[at] the door

אֹ֥הֶל

’ō·hel

of the tabernacle

מוֹעֵ֖ד

mō·w·‘êḏ

אֶת־

’eṯ-

רֹ֣אשׁ

､ נִזְר֑וֹ

niz·rōw;

his consecrated ､

וְלָקַ֗ח

wə·lā·qaḥ,

אֶת־

שְׂעַר֙

וְנָתַן֙

and put [it]

the fire

אֲשֶׁר־

תַּ֖חַת

ta·ḥaṯ

זֶ֥בַח

ze·ḇaḥ

. הַשְּׁלָמִֽים׃

haš·šə·lā·mîm.

of the peace offering .

וְלָקַ֨ח

wə·lā·qaḥ

הַכֹּהֵ֜ן

hak·kō·hên

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

הַזְּרֹ֣עַ

haz·zə·rō·a‘

בְּשֵׁלָה֮

bə·šê·lāh

מִן־

min-

of

､ הָאַיִל֒

hā·’a·yil

the ram ､

וְֽחַלַּ֨ת

wə·ḥal·laṯ

and cake

מַצָּ֤ה

maṣ·ṣāh

אַחַת֙

’a·ḥaṯ

מִן־

､ הַסַּ֔ל

has·sal,

the basket ､

וּרְקִ֥יק

ū·rə·qîq

מַצָּ֖ה

maṣ·ṣāh

. אֶחָ֑ד

’e·ḥāḏ;

וְנָתַן֙

wə·nā·ṯan

And put [them]

עַל־

‘al-

כַּפֵּ֣י

kap·pê

､ הַנָּזִ֔יר

han·nā·zîr,

of the Nazirite ､

אַחַ֖ר

’a·ḥar

הִֽתְגַּלְּח֥וֹ

hiṯ·gal·lə·ḥōw

אֶת־

’eṯ-

-

. נִזְרֽוֹ׃

niz·rōw.

his consecrated [hair] .

וְהֵנִיף֩

wə·hê·nîp̄

אוֹתָ֨ם

’ō·w·ṯām

הַכֹּהֵ֥ן ׀

תְּנוּפָה֮

tə·nū·p̄āh

as a wave offering

לִפְנֵ֣י

lip̄·nê

. יְהוָה֒

קֹ֤דֶשׁ

､ לַכֹּהֵ֔ן

lak·kō·hên,

for the priest ､

עַ֚ל

‘al

חֲזֵ֣ה

הַתְּנוּפָ֔ה

of the wave offering

וְעַ֖ל

wə·‘al

and

שׁ֣וֹק

šō·wq

､ הַתְּרוּמָ֑ה

hat·tə·rū·māh;

of the heave offering ､

וְאַחַ֛ר

wə·’a·ḥar

and after [that]

יִשְׁתֶּ֥ה

yiš·teh

הַנָּזִ֖יר

han·nā·zîr

. יָֽיִן׃

yā·yin.

זֹ֣את

zōṯ

This [is]

תּוֹרַ֣ת

tō·w·raṯ

the law

הַנָּזִיר֮

han·nā·zîr

of the Nazirite

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

’ă·šer

יִדֹּר֒

yid·dōr

קָרְבָּנ֤וֹ

qā·rə·bā·nōw

לַֽיהוָה֙

Yah·weh

עַל־

‘al-

､ נִזְר֔וֹ

niz·rōw,

his separation ､

מִלְּבַ֖ד

mil·lə·ḇaḏ

and besides that

אֲשֶׁר־

’ă·šer-

תַּשִּׂ֣יג

taś·śîḡ

is able to provide

יָד֑וֹ

yā·ḏōw;

כְּפִ֤י

kə·p̄î

נִדְרוֹ֙

niḏ·rōw

the vow

אֲשֶׁ֣ר

’ă·šer

､ יִדֹּ֔ר

yid·dōr,

he takes ､

כֵּ֣ן

kên

so

יַעֲשֶׂ֔ה

ya·‘ă·śeh,

he must do

עַ֖ל

‘al

תּוֹרַ֥ת

tō·w·raṯ

the law

. נִזְרֽוֹ׃

niz·rōw.

of his separation .

and keep you .

and be gracious to you .

וַאֲנִ֖י

will bless them .
